Are these harming my macros health/growth?

I believe these are spirorbid worms on my macroalgae that I have in my refugium. It's not a macro display tank, but I still want to keep the macros "clean", healthy, and growing. I enjoy viewing my refugium almost as much as the display tank and may want to sell clippings or set up a macroalgae display tank in my 5th grade classroom. They seem to be spreading to others macros. Should I just leave them be or do I need to try and eradicate them.

They do look like spiriod worms. It’s a little odd they’re growing on the macro like that. They likely aren’t causing harm, but I’m not an expert on the topic.
