Wish there was a purple Coral that would glow in the blue light.

Definitely. Purple just seems to be a shade of Xooxanthellae that doesn’t excite under blues/violets.

Yep and blue corals are washed out and can’t be appreciated. Makes me miss the good ole days before arcade style lighting.

This is one of the main reasons I run T5’s with my LED’s. They let me enjoy the natural colors of fish and corals.

which acro did you end up getting, im debating the same thing right now, between those two. sort of seems like the same color scheme, but every pic is a little different, some have two toned polyps, others are just red/pink

Picked up a Cherry Bomb back in August last year. It was just a little double branch frag and has really started taking off.

Under an orange filter and all blue lights, yep! Still beautiful under the ReeFi's and T5's (Coral Plus and Blue Plus). All the blood red pics we see of them are clearly filtered under blues and doctored.

Not Tenuis, but have you tried Red Dragon?

I find that looks more red under whiter lights.

That one refuses to stay alive, the closest I can get to thrive is the TNT Anacropora

Have you seen a TNT anacropora that is THAT glowing saturated red? I've never.

Photos are generally doctored, under heavy blues, heck even when I take a photo of my tank under 100% radion blues my iphone tries to doctor the photo more automagically to make it pop. So in my opinion it never looks that way and I have never seen any major seller online that doesn't use a camera that either does some processing or they do some processing themselves with orange filters

Update on mine. It has really taken off and started branching out. Definitely not as red as the "photo doctor" sellers present it as, but still very nice.
Even under the blues and whites/lime of my ReeFi Uno 2's and 2x Coral Plus, 2x Blue Plus T5's, it shows a gorgeous red and pink.

I'm not sure if they table or not, but not all tenuis do. Flow and lighting can also play a role in how they grow.
