I really want to get a wrasse but I’m not sure if they’re reef safe
some of them are, some are not. Live Aquaria is good for a estimate at their temperament. EG the sixline wrasse is generally okay with coral but aggressive towards other fish

So the tank mates with the wrasse are going to be clownfish, Banggai cardinal, and a blue tang in a seventy gallon with a lot of coral so is it a good idea to put a six line wrasse in there with them or is there a better species
That tank is way to small for a blue tang they need a 250+
Look in LiveAquaria. Lots of better wrasses than a six line

A six line should be fine if added last but I prefer fairy or Flasher wrasses, you can even have a few different kinds of those. Six lines tend to be aggressive towards smaller, peaceful fish.
