I'm curious to see who's fish are more happy with coral colonies growing.
Especially sps. Acros, staghorns in my case. Mine seem happier.
I think it mimics their natural habitat. Rock work only goes so far without some natural habitat to make them feel at home.
Plus I feel as corals grow it helps to break up the laminar flow from pumps giving fish a sort of breather. Little micro climates just like the reef.
Watcha think???

I think so. Very happy when they see me with food, and even happier when they’re feasting! My Dwarf midnight angel loves acans. As in $250 worth of “dining out” over the weekend. But yes, in general all my fish (and inverts) do seem to enjoy having corals.
