Arothron Puffer Compatibility

How do puffers of this genus get along with each other? I have seen videos of stars and stripes puffers and dogface puffers being together but I was curious if any special precautions must be taken such as adding them at the same time. I do not keep puffers but there is one where I work, and I have been told it would be aggressive to newly added puffers.

It is possible to keep more than one in the same tank if in a large enough tank. You will need to supervise them as this isn’t a etched in stone rule of thumb. It is best, if you goal is to keep multiple Puffers, to keep Puffers of different body style like a Stars and Stripes, Porcupine and a Valentini.

That's touchy, more times than not, no. I have seen it work in aquariums in the 300plus range and when added very young.
