ATI T5 availability

48” T5 bulbs are out of stock at most online vendors. I hope they have not quietly stopped production!

Im glad I have several years worth of halide and T5 stocked up. I wish I would have done the same for 65w power compact bulbs. They cannot be found anywhere now.

There are multiple factors at play.

T5 production is down. That’s just fact no matter how any T5 selling entity tries to spin it. The European ban is far more detrimental than they want to pretend.

ATI/NYOS distribution has had a total overhaul with new CEO and new employees. This has very likely impacted imports.

There were some serious shipping issues from Europe to the US not long ago. Multiple companies were affected that I know about. ATI could certainly be one of them

With that said, if you find bulbs, buy and hoard them. Giesemann makes great bulbs as well and had better stock at one point

They haven't. 60 inch was out a couple of months ago but they have them in stock now at most retailers.

I reached out directly to ATI about T5 production. I was told they will be receiving new stock, but could not provide me with a date of when to expect them.

Spoke with ATI a week ago bulbs just waiting to leave Germany. Germany seems to be getting shafted here in customs so I’m guessing they’re in no rush to get them on the boat. GHL and ATI and I believe Tunze have had stuff sit in US customs for months.
