Just been on a 2hr round trip to get some supplies and got some atm outbreak only to realise its the freshwater version, will it be any benefit to my tank or does it really have to go in the bin? I wasnt sure if the marine one was just more expensive for us hobbyists

I know, just wasnt sure if the marine one was the same stuff but more expensive like everything in the marine world, i read somewhere that bacteria can adapt to fresh and saltwater

Don't put anything fresh water in a saltwater tank...they have different versions for a reason.
