ATO rubber line turned pink ….

Not only was my RODI in my ATO testing 550 on the TDS-3 but I also noticed my ATO line was pink. Is this some kind of bacteria? Or is it just stained from the reaction of salt water, as I did top off for a few days with some low salinity water to raise my salinity?
