Attaching Xenia to plug

I just picked up this little Xenia frag yesterday and noticed part of it isn’t fully attached to the plug.

what’s the best way to secure the parts that are kinda floating loose?

I'm not sure that isn't a clove polyp instead of a xenia. I'd think just a dab of superglue gel under the part that isn't attached should do the trick.

Those look like my yellow tip clove polyps, not Xenia. Very attractive coral either way. I agree a dab of superglue should do it, or it will likely fix itself on its own as it grows.

Yes not Xenia , clove polyps, I would leave alone it will attach full in time

Set it in a cup with some rubble or plugs. Check in a week, it should attach.

The LFS tossed it in as a freebie. I was thinking it was a Xenia.

Not as fast, but certainly quick. A small frag with 4-5 polyps I got a few months ago is now bigger than my fist.
If it were Xenia and I did nothing my tank would have already been taken over (I know because I have some that has).
Still keep away from main rockwork.

Superglue,but thats seemed to strees mine, better is in box with some rubble, then when attached superglue to rock.

Looks like anthelia to me.....

I use a toothpick and rubber band to hold them on the plug until they attach.

I’ve found they just slime off the glue and fall off.

Yup... If I had time I'd go frag one right now (have a bunch to do) and take photos. Maybe I'll circle back tonight with photos if I get a moment.

I gkued some recently, they still holding to rock, but dont open or look good as few heads that i have in plastic box....

Rubberband newer worked for me, on anything, either coral slips underneath band, either just splits up and detach from rock....
