I came home from work today and noticed that my darn Turbo snails have been busy. My small frag of pointy birdsnest was knocked down next to one of my Acan. Well, the first thing I noticed were the long tentacles coming out of the Acan. And 3/4 of my birdsnest has been stripped clean. I am a little sad. I really liked that piece that I had gotten from Randy.

The lesson here... Always glue my frags into place. And now to hope that the part that wasn't munched will grow.

All the tips were stripped clean. Do I need to cut the dead parts off and just leave the stump that hasn't been stripped? Or leave it alone and see what happens?

Cut off the dead, that happened to my frag of birds nest and I left it alone, it melted a week or so later.

Sorry for your coral. I've had that happen more times than I care to admit. I'm often very bad about gluing corals down. The worst time was when the 3G mummy eye dive bombed on top of the scoly ;)

Wow. Well your would be worse. This was a small birdsnest, so it isn't a expensive piece. But I liked it. I need to start gluing. :)

I can do anytime Friday or Saturday. If either of those days doesn't work for you shoot me a text and we can work something out
