So today I kinda sorta impulse bought a frag of purple star polyp to go along side my green star. Dripped, rinsed, rinsed again, and within two hours (after lights out) it was fully open. Thoroughly pleased with this.

Does anyone have experience with this variety? My lfs tells me it's just Green Star, but purple. Same care and everything. Won't even engage in chemical warfare with other star polyps. Just want to see if anyone can confirm or refute this?

There some morph’s that have a purple shade to them. It will be interesting if it stays that color under your lighting.
