So I bought an apex auto feeder so I can go on vacation. Yes it is loud yes it is a pain to fill but it is what it is. So anyway my question is if I hit feed from my phone everything shuts off and the feeder works fish fed done.if I let it go on the timer nothing shuts off and food down the overflow.can I program this so it kills everything and waits to open and rotate?

Thanks in advance

So you should have a button for AFS, it should be set to auto, You then need to set a schedule in the configuration page like below.

To Explain the Programming above, I first start feeding at 11:00 am, Drum Rotation 1 means it spins around 1 time, 3 Feeds per day and 200 means 200 minutes after the first it feeds again. So my AFS will feed a total of 3 times per day.
Works like a charm. Not sure what you are doing. Have you set the feed mode ????

And of course have that Feed mode in everything that you want to turn off during that feeding

Correct above, you need to add some code on the items you want off during the feed mode.
So for example, in your return pump, or power heads outlet config page : If FeedA 000 Then OFF
Below is the code on one of my Vortechs:

I have mine set up for 4 feedings daily via Apex unit. . . . . 9a, 12p, 3p and 6p. It turns 2 spins and shuts off. Never had a glitch

The AFS Configuration has a Specific feed mode that you can set. If it's "A" every time your AFS feeds it should activate that Feed Mode. Make sure the devices you want turned off for the feed have the code in their respective configurations.

If FeedA 000 Then OFF

The feeder works fine.but unless I initiate feed mode everything stays on when it feeds.
