Auto heat/cool options. Need assistance please

I really haven't thought this all the way through so please try to bear with me. I am planning on building a small enclosed room (10' L x 3' W x 8 ' H) out in my garage for my sump/filtration equipment. This filtration room will be plumbed directly into my main DT in the house.
My question is, what is the best method, and cheapest way others have found to heat their garage (20x24) during the winter months? I was thinking about an Infrared heater but would like to hear some other options. Should I heat the whole garage or should I just vent the heat into the enclosure and have a thermostat hooked up to the heater?

Any and all advise would be appreciate, as well as other things that I need to think about. Not real concerned with humidity since its in a garage and there are several ways I can take care of that.

I think running a in tank heater will be cheaper than constantly heating and sustaining a temperature in a cold room. Just a thought

I thought about it but I don't think it will be enough at night once the lights are out and it is 0 degrees outside. There is also going to be various tanks out there as well (cryptic tank, refugium tank, QT tank, frag grow out tank, and a sump), so there will be quiet a bit of water volume there to heat. I am building the closet style enclosure very well insulated, but I'm having my biggest fit about what kind of doors to install. I'm wanting them to open up like french door and allow me easy access to everything. Maybe some pocket doors, but I'll have to find a clever way to have access to the back corners of the enclosure.

cheapest way would be a unit heater that hanges in the corner and heats the whole space. I think if you had a bunch of heaters in your sump it would kill your power bill. You could maintain 70 ish degrees with no problem if your garage doors are insulated and you have good weather stripping around your garage doors. I have a heated garage and I love it. Sometimes it's nice being a hvac guy lol.

I asked the Hvac crew if they could run duct work there and they said they couldn't (carbon monoxide fumes). I'm sure I could do it myself, but with the thermostat in the house, how cold does it actually get in your garage?

I live in Utah so it gets well below 20 's at night, but with my heater it stays 65 now. I like to keep the old Harley warm in the winter! Dont run duct from your home its a huge no no. Best thing is a unit heater, or a used furnace with a flue.
