Automatic dimmer for black box led?

I am looking into lighting options for my current tank, and ones that would also work for a soon ish to come 40b upgrade.

I have fallen in love with fluval fresh and plant line, because of there controllability ( mostly how they auto dim to dark every night instead of just switching off and on ) but I am not looking to spend that much on a light, ( specifically there marine line ) so here is what I was thinking.

Get some sort of cheap black box led for like $75 off Amazon, which is great and all, but I want it to dim to dark every night and brighten to day every morning (
Also gets me up )

I am trying to find a decent auto dimmer, and have honestly found nothing that isn’t like 1-2 hundred, which would just warrant me to getting a fancy fluval or ai prime or something along those lines.

do you guys have any recommendations? My parents are electrical engineers so I would be open to some pretty serious diy mods if that is what it takes ( I also have access to almost all the fancy machines you could think of )

hoping to keep cost under $50 and around $25 if possible.

I also just found WiFi controlled black box leds, I would love to get one of these, they just seem to be unavailable everywhere, if anybody has found any decent ones of these please recommend them :)
