Not the quickest of the bunch (Till I can pony up the cash for a Cosworth Supercharger) but I live in the Mountains of Virginia near Skyline drive. So every day I drive is an exciting ride. =)
This is the MOST FUN car i've ever driven'. Bar none, and I've had my butt in some really nice seats. Handles like it's on rails and can drift all day.
I'ts [HASHTAG]#540[/HASHTAG] of 1500 made. (540 just happens to be my area code too .... oooooo spooky lol)
Have had it up to 156mph on rt81 and it still had more to go. I plan on maxing it out with a vid once I get the Blower.

All these Americans got very big rides. And 1 on 10 I see a number plate. But I know everything in the states is big. I see this great SUVs. For guys like me it's only a dream. When you pay for gasoline like 1,50-1.75 a liter in euro I need to quit my tank in the living room [emoji23]

Ok guys lets play nice. If it won't be settled on the race track let's stop the testosterone dumping.

This gives we car guys a bad name.

4 bangers may beat 8 bangers on occasion but your civic wasn't designed to handle that kind of horsepower, whereas the Shelby was. For total cost of ownership (repairs and longetivity if you beat on it), resale value, etc I see the Shelby monsters. It is cool that you've customized it to be fast but they're two different leagues. You definitely win for uniqueness, and definitely that's how you surprise people. It would be pretty disheartening to lose to a civic in an 80k machine. It happens though but I see the appeal haha.

Anyway my point is we are competing giraffes and rose bushes. Car guys have different tastes and that's cool. We are a dying breed most people don't care anymore, especially in my generation (I am 30). We share in common TWO hobbies here - reefing and cars. Let's focus on that.

Who else wants to show off their rides? Bonus if they're customized! :D

Ill bite ;)

Actually I am in Pinehurst, NC so not too far from you. Unfortunately, i made the mistake of selling the Supra. yes it still had the stock twins. It was a 97 anniv., 6spd, 80k miles. Fun car! Can't find another one for under 40k these days

Ill play!
