Just received the Insight Pro model and noticed it is not displaying any of the room info. Anyone know how to fix this? I did make sure it said pro on the back incase I was accidently sent the wrong model. It’s very intuitive to use however I can’t find any info on this.

Thank you for any input!

@cobraz might be able to help.
I ended up contacting AvidAqua and spoke with Ryan, super nice guy. He sent me a new one and I shipped the old one back. After some research, only thing I can think of was it was mis labeled as a pro. All good and fixed now!

Glad to hear. Just learned about these. Looking into it more.

Does yours read the room temperature properly? Mine is off by 7-9°

Interesting, let me check compared to my Nest thermostat and also a Hanna Temp probe.

I have three other thermometers I’ve checked it against and mine is horribly off. Not a big deal really but something to note.

My other three are all within 1° and match what my room temperature “should” be

Interesting, mine is pretty close to what the nest thermostats through my house are saying. I’ll still grab my Hanna thermostat to compare but initial is pretty close. I wonder if there’s a way to calibrate it? Living room temp sensor on nest shows 67. The AvidAqua pro is less than 6 feet away from our nest controller since they are on the same wall area next to the tank.

@Reef Jedi Glad to hear you got it worked out.
Dead giveaway is the functionality of the Pro vs the Standard version. When you go to customize you can see what's avaliable as well.

My Insight Pro reads a temperature 6° cooler than the actual room temp.

Did you guys ever get this figured out? I see where theres an adjustment option on the MyAquarium app, and when I make the adjustement to both the temp and the huumidity, it tells me its waiting for the Insight to respond, and then does nothing.

Remember placement of the InSight may play into readings of Temp, C02 etc..
If you have central air and there is a vent near by then it may be cooler in that location.
If set by the tank...defenatly will be warmer from surrounding air from lights, chillers etc.

They also built in a calibration you can do outdoors to adjust readings. Never did it myself yet.
