It is amazing how a little piece of paper/cotton is the super duper prevention device. I think it is there to calm uneducated peoples nerves, kinda like the "butt gaskets" that are used in public restrooms. Most bacteria/virus are so small they pass right through the pores in those too. Sheep, most people are sheep....

Atleast the majority of us can make fresh, clean drinking water for ourselves. Better go get some duct tape and plastic for your windows and doors......;)

I still have my plastic sheeting and duct tape that the government suggest we get after...I can't remember if it was 9/11 or the anthrax scare. :squigglemouth:

As a medical professional, I hate this crap. If the CDC and WHO cries wolf enought nobody will believe it if something really bad comes along. In the medical field we are already skeptical. Huntsville and Madison, Al has already closed schools and daycare centers because we have two possible cases. Viral test kits are running low. Mask are back ordered. The local hospitals are requiring people to put on mask before going into the facility. At this rate if it turns really bad there will not be any mask or test kits. As a prior post has stated regular mask do not provide much protection against a viral infection. What we have here is a mass panic. All flu virus are dangerous to small children, elderly, and immunocompromised people. So stay away from sick people and don't kiss any pigs. lol that was funny.

My son works at Walgreens. He just got home and told us that the store manager has made two trips today to Home Depot to buy large quantities of those painter masks that barely keep drywall dust out of your lungs. They have sold every one of them for more than he paid at Home Depot. This thing is absolutely and stupidly out of control.
