I hear good things about these fish...

Oh wow I will have to look into it. Thank you 🙏🙏

Knowing my luck it will be an Australian species which is not sold here 😂

So often I check the US websites & they’re selling Australian this or Australian that - but no one in my country is selling it 😂😂

This is so good though!!
I’ve had a 4-5 week process of bleaching & drying rocks - yet they still made an appearance in the new tank!!

I still haven’t moved my fish over & have one HUGE Aiptasia left in the tank with them…..
Huge to the point that I have a friend who comes over & enjoys feeding it krill.

When I finally move those fish out & kill that thing…. I swear to god - its going to be ceremonial.

That’s very true about the nudibranches. I put them in my tank, maybe six or eight of them never ever saw them again. I thought they succumbed to the filtration, but then the Aiptasia began collapsing almost as quickly as they populated.

I was unhappy with F-Aiptasia: the product separated in its bottle and wouldn’t completely blend smooth no matter how much I stirred; so the application was uneven and generated lots of precipitation. I’ve heard that Aiptasia X is thicker, but I’m too worried about my other animals in the tank to keep using chemicals. So I just set up a “quarantine” tank with a couple of hungry peppermint shrimp using an idea I first saw at a trade show presentation and used by my LFS. (NOTE: only one or two shrimp varieties can be relied on to eat aiptasia and my LFS admits they can’t rely on their wholesaler to identify the varieties). My first rock put into quarantine was cleaned of its two aiptasia in the first night! The next rock is too big so I’m upsizing the tank after this proof of concept. Shrimp get to eat pellets until I can deliver the next rock. BTW my Molly Miller blenny in the DT has no interest in helping out.
