Is there any reason I can’t use 2 peristaltic pumps plugged in to basic WiFi smart plug for auto water changes?

Nope, however I recommend a good ole fashioned digital timer. I’ve had my WiFi plugs get stuck on, and this may drain your tank once the supply runs out.
