Hi after a heart breaking disaster on my prevoius tank it opened up with an immediate upgrade options...

What happened exactly?

My temp prove was accidentally remove out of the water and measured the room temperature so it keeps the heater on up to 77deg celcius...

This time around get a controller so you have 2 failsafes -- the controller and the heaters built in timer. Also don't oversize the heater and it gives you more time to act.
