Just noticed a little baby goniopora this morning. I seen that little thing at the bottom two days ago and didn't think it was anything until I saw the polyp or head extending from it this morning, so cool!

I agree, a pic with whites will help. I'm still gonna venture out and say sponge though.

Unfortunately I have a T5 system incapable of changing to white but now that you mentioned sponge you could be right cause I have those pesky pineapple sponges and it's possible it started to grow right at the base of the goniopora. Kinda bummed out about it but gonna keep an eye on it to see if it is or not.
 
Keep those sponges around, that's a good sign of a healthy system.
Well guess I have a healthy system cause they have been staying around for a good amount of time now. Not the best looking things but if it means health I'll take it.
