Baby proofing aquarium cabinet

i was baby proofing for our 1 year old and found a very nice automatic hidden magnetic lock for the door on my Red Sea aquarium cabinet. Use a magnet to unlock through the door.

If you are going to be working a lot in the cabinet you can switch it so it won’t lock, and the switch it back to automatically lock when you are done. The latch has adhesive tape to attach to the door, but also has holes for screws to really secure the latch.

I bet those would work for cats too... For some reason my knuckleheads love to open cabinet doors and mess with whatever is inside.

I saw your build thread-- if you haven't been already, you should totally get one of the led lamp shades and diffuser for your light. 3d reefing makes them. It will go a long way towards keeping your kiddo from looking directly at the light.
