Hi,

I have a 25 gallon nano tank, pretty new just 7 months old, I noticed “thousands” of baby snails.
Anyone know what kind they are and if I need to do something or not about them?
I will attach a photo for reference.

Thank you!

Snail eggs for sure. Not sure the snail type. You ca. try to let them hatch or scrape them off if you dont like them. They lay eggs all over my glass too

It is hard to tell, but they look like Collonista snails. If they are, they are algae grazers and you only have to worry about them getting into pumps and wavemakers. They're great cleaners, but can be a pain. I had a ton of them in my 45gal.

The other thought is baby trochus snails. It's hard to tell without a closer photo.

I would think those are collonista snails. The shell doesn't seem pointed enough for a Trochus. They are good algae grazers but like others said they tend to gum up moving parts.
