I got married 50 years ago and when I met my future wife I explained to her that I have this fish tank, and I will always have this fish tank. I still have the tank and the same wife and both are happy. :D

Welcome! Of course it will work! May take a little creativity in the plumbing but it certainly can be done. Can even go with a much bigger sump since its in another spot.

welcome! I don't think that would be a problem. If space permits I would go for two 45s put together instead of the 90s. That's an easy way to help reduce restriction
Hi,

I went for the under tank in living room, but i did drill a 10MM hole through hose wall into Shed today for the Auto Top Off tank. The 2 x 45Deg would have been so much hassle drilling from within the sump..
