Hello!

I'm back and ready for build mode. I bought a 35g cube from Petco today, but am considering on changing to the 14g. I had been planning on it and had ordered a bunch of stuff for it on Amazon.

I'm wondering if anyone has any sand or dry/live rock for sale near(ish) Norwich, CT? I'm hoping to be able to pick that up by next weekend.

Anyway: I'm sure I'll be here quite a bit as I navigate these waters once again!

Hey I'm in colchester and go to norwich frequently to play hockey. I have maybe 10lbs of rock. It's been curing in a bucket that I rotate when I do my water changes for at least 5 months.

not sure if you'd want to seed the tank with these no coralline or anything just whiteish gray rock. You can have the rock. The 2 frag holder rocks aren't in that bucket anymore so its just the white rock.

Yeah that would be great actually. I'm okay with starting without any coralline. The rest of my rock will be! Is this rock just been seeded with your tank water? I was just thinking if I need to knock that big piece open if it would have any bristleworm surprises? I could pick it up on Friday or Saturday if you have availability.

I have two 40lb unopened bags of Aragonite Special Grade Dry Sand. Selling for $50 each. You won't need both for a 35 gallon set up but one bag will definitely do the job. PM me if interested.

Hey sorry for the delay yes seeded with tank water. No bristle worms or anything should be present. The rock doesn't have a bunch of holes either. You are more then welcome to it if you want it. Pm me and we can schedule a meet up.

Hi (im sorry if I got your name wrong lol its been a while) Curt!
Thanks for checking in. I forgot about that rock, lol but no worries. I think I have enough. I am actually switching over to a biocube because I want it to be secure from my cat who has a knack for making things difficult. Also it would be nice to get a goby without concern of a jumper escaping. I'll be setting it up with my cycled water, rock and sand this weekend. Kind of bummed because I loved the light I had, but it will look cleaner and I can have it in my living room instead of hidden from the cat in the bedroom. Do you happen to have any chaeto you want to be rid of? I am hoping to turn the back of the biocube into a little refugium. Good to hear from you!

Hey it sounds like it's going to be a nice setup. I don't run a refugium so no chaeto here but you can try posting on the CTARS Facebook group and see if anybody has something to share.
