Hi Everyone!

Former business owner and R2R sponsor here..... I got out of the industry before leaving Los Angeles and am setting up on a hobby level in Western North Carolina. I am hoping to catch up on trends and what has changed in the last 10 years. Also curious about how many of us are here in the Smoky Mountains.

Starting out again with a Reefer 450. 92 gallon, Apex controlled, 2x Radion XR30 pro. Started slowly with dry rock and live sand. Only fish are a pair of extreme bullethole Clownfish. Going for a mixed reef to start. Hopefully I can control myself!

Welcome and Welcome Back! Glad you joined. Bet you have lots of great knowledge to share!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread under Forum > Member Aquariums and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)

This might help you find people local to you in those gorgeous Smokey Mountains:

This is a good reference book type online article I still review:
