I’m having trouble finding out how to back up my fusion in case it has a problem. I have a backup fusion in case I need it on the shelf. How do I go about restoring my configuration without starting from scratch? Is it even possible?

Fusion itself is on servers at Neptune system that you cannot backup. Depending on what APEX. You have there is different ways to perform a “ backup”
Classic version you can do a actual backup, the 2016 you cannot you can only print out or save all of you parameters ( that I know of off the top of my head) if I’m wrong someone let me know

in your apex 2016 model you CAN save configuration into a backup file and then if something happens you can restore from that file and dont have to enter anything manually.
But this requires access to your apex in LAN (local area network) you need to know the local IP address to it and in the browser enter the ip locally and open its interface.

for example i have my apex 2016 set at 192.168.1.6
this opens the interface display page of the apex.

After opening the page click on setting wheel which will expand the menu and click on misc

apex2.png

After misc click on load/save icon

Once there you have the option to load or save config

hope that helps.

Yes it does thank you very much. How do I find out it’s local IP address?

in fact you can goto Netune apex website, click on support and then onto firmware updates
or click here

Apex Classic Firmware Version 4.53 for PC and Mac

when that page open click on pc download or mac download (whichever computer you use)
it will download a ZIP file and inside the zip file there are 5-7 files one of them is the browser utility.

WARNING!!!!!! DONOT try to upload this firmware its not for apex2016 its for classic.
just extract the browser utility file and delete the rest so you dont have any accidents.

I found my IP address. But when I signing it doesn’t look anything like my phone. Not the same temp or ph ect. And missing 90% of the information. I wonder why that is?

that is strange because local or fusion information should be the same. have you tried rebooting the apex?
click on misc and there is a reboot option there try rebooting and see if that makes a difference.
