Hi fellow fish friends

Got to the point now, I am thinking of buying a backup battery in case of power failure
I've a 200 litre tank and currently use 8 sockets for the tabk and peripherals.

Any recommendations for backup batteries/ups ??

I am based in not so sunny Ireland

Thanks a mill

Well I’ve got a 72amp hour car battery in a tool box connected to a 2000watt inverter. In the extremely rare event of a small power cut, it runs my entire tank, at least for a while. For longer outages I’d connect the car upto it, but that’s not happened yet. Running just the return pump would be frugal, and maybe wise. Are you expecting some seasonal Irish weather? Lol

Couple power cuts recently ... all good though.
Airing on side of caution coming into winter
