Backwall Vortech placement. What mode do you use?

How many of you all have your Vortech pumps on the back wall? Just wondering what mode works well for you.

I put mine there for a cleaner look.

I have my two MP40w in anti-sync long pulse mode in my 120g Oceanic Tech tank . It gives me a nice gyre type flow.

I have an MP10 but i have it on the side of my tank. I swap between Nutrient Transport, Reefcrest, and Lagoon modes around 50% power. The randomness helps keep my tank pretty clean.

Yeah I've found that the flow from a vortech is most efficient when it is pointed in the direction of the longest dimension of the tank. Although with two mp40s you should have plenty of flow.

I am thinking most of the sane Reef2Reef people are sleeping lol. Only thing i can suggest is to try the search until someone responds.
