Balancing tank for mixed reef

125g tank is about 2 years old and really want to get into corals other then just softies. Always seem to have high nitrates/PHOS and recently added a fleece roller and baseball size of Chaeto.

About to do a 30g water change today and another Friday night, for about. 50% total water change.

Looking for some advice to really keep my levels stabilized to be able to get some coral in the tank.

After a round of Dino’s and cyano… I’m nervous to bottom out my levels again.

I would continue doing 30% changes twice a week until levels get where you want them. After that a period of just maintaining the levels you want. Once you can keep the tank in the desired range, then add the corals you have your eye on.
