Now it's making sense, we've engaged on FB before, Mr. F ;)

Your tank is phenomenal.

How did I just find this thread now? One of the nicest tanks I've come across.

Should have known I'd find some people I know over this way.

Needless to say I love seeing your layout.
LOL, what's up dude! Glad to see you getting some pics up of your reef.

An ever changing layout, as you know. Almost time to move some things around again...
One of the nicest tanks I've come across.
Thanks!

They never stop evolving. Maybe one day I'll start practicing what I preach again and do a focused aquarium, for right now I dig my hobby layout.

Curious to see what you're going to move around.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

I had to remove two small plate corals. They pick at pretty much everything from time to time, but if your coral is healthy they don't do damage. The little plates would just stay retracted all the time and by the time they opened back up, wham, they'd hit it again ;)

My advice to anyone mixing angels with coral is: keep them well fed, keep lots of coral to spread the nipping around, don't add to a tank full of frags (colonies can handle nipping, frags cannot) and finally your fishes will ultimately dictate what coral you can keep. It's their home afterall :)
I know this is a late reply but thanks for the info.

Honestly i haven't seen my angels pick at any sps. I have colonies and a bunch of Frags. Also have 2 plate corals on the sand they haven't touched. Guess I'm just lucky. Going to try put some acans in and see how they do. I've had clams with them without a problem. Only when Italy them out them put them back will they pick at them. Haven't killed anything though. My emperor would pick, but he's gone.
