So I had a pair of bangaii in my 90 gallon for a good 6 months. Ich got introduced and unfortunately one died, which was a bummer because they were breeding. I love the fish and I would like to have a lot more. My question is, how many would you consider safe to have in a 90 gallon? And is there a chance after I get the new ones out of QT that the older larger cardinal I already have attacks them??

I am certainly not an expert on Cardinal fish, but if I remember correctly, any more than 2 will likely fight. I believe one male and one female is best to reduce aggression. They might get along for a while but as soon as two of them pair up they can become aggressive to the other Cardinals.
