Bangaii cardinals

Yah-thats what im thinking-just kicking around ideas to finish off stocking

Cool shapes, but color is so-so and looks like they don’t move around much. Skip for me.
I have to disagree on the movement. Mine are constantly in motion.

You must have some hyper ones. Most I see just kinda hover.
Watching them now. Back and forth across the tank, occasionally taking off with a burst of speed to chase something in the water column. They are not as active as my McCosker‘s Wrasse, but more active than my clown gobies.

Most of the time you’ll see them in the LFS where they’ve likely just come in or are scared and wanting to hover. However once in an established reef and are happy they tend to be quite a bit more active.

I find them to be the nicest of fish as they are nocturnal which is unusual for many reef fish. So you can truly enjoy them in the day and night when everything else is asleep.

100% ADD. IMO they are an underrated fish in this hobby because they lack the bright colors. When I first started I also didn't find them attractive but 17yrs later they have become one of my favorite fish. Awesome pattern, never cause problems with tank mates, not the most active but also not the most shy, just chill, under certain light their silver color pops really nicely and they develop beautiful long dorsal fins
