I hope the export is banned. All should be aquacultured at this point since it is heavily endangered due to it's environment shrinking and over fishing.

Import ban proposal but there are many US breeders and suppliers and even persons finding them in tank or sump noy realizing they have babies.

I have not seen any Baggers not labeled as AQ in years. Who knows if they are lying or not - I hope that they are all AQ. In any case, this is a good thing. They can be captive bred and aquaculture, so no need to keep taking a threatened species out of the ocean.

Hopefully they aren't banned

Hopefully they are since they can be captive bred so easily. Catching animals out of the wild and getting one successfully to your aquarium kills quite a lot animals on the way, so it should be a low priority to take wild fish if you can captive breed them.
