Are we sure this is Aiptasia, vs a curlicue anemone?

An aiptasia anemone will not eat a neon goby.

Ummm no. They are currrently classified in the same family (rightly or wrongly) but they are a different genus and species. They are much larger than any aiptasia species i’ve heard of, and apparently can grow pretty big. Also, they do not reproduce readily in the aquarium like the more infamous of the aiptasia species.

I think it might overgrow a 2 gallon tank. But then, just about everything would overgrow it. Exceptions include small shrimp, and zoas.

its been living in a jar for 2 months and in 1 gallon in 2 months... and i thought i could keep 1 neon goby and yeahh i was planning on puting alot of corals on this one.. not just zoas im experience reefer..

yknow what im just not gonna keep a fish on it.. its not worth the risk i think im just going to keep anemone shrimp

guys can you help me.. so i end up buying the clown fish... but its been 4 days and he hasnt eaten yet... i tried marine pellet, flakes.. brine/mysis and chopped krill... good thing my peppermint eat all that food...
