Bare minimum Sps tank?

I want to set up a bare minimum sps tank.
What are the bare minimums for an sps tank...this is what I am thinking

Tank
Light
Flow
Skimmer

I have a tank in mind that the local pet store has, 40 gallon built in sump(truvu tank)
it need some tlc but I could get it cheap
I have some LED Vegas I can use.
Wp 25 or 40 depending on side of tank for flow...
And a CPR back pack skimmer.

Is there anything I am missing...

Sand
Fish
Rock, if I don't have to all the better...

I ran a 40 breeder like that for the last yr it had up and downs ! When it was running nice things looked great I drip dosed topoff with kalk water !
I'm starting a new 225 gal if I was going to keep running the 40 breeder I would have done away with kalk I think the system was tad small and it was sump less so I don't think it was good dripping it directly into tank!
I would do 2 part with a doser!!

Last night as I was looking at my tank ans I was thinking anboutplumping it directly into my sump on my 90 gallon reef.
Not sure if I want to have it have its own dedicated system or keep it with mine that way the sps would already be used to my display water.
I know that would also increase water vol which for the most part is always a good thing...
Thanks for the info maattl22, im not huge on using kalk so I would just dose the tank daily.

Man the more I think about it the batter it sounds just to add it inline to my 90...
Lets see where this takes me

I think thats what im going to do.
Im woundering if I can run a filter sock in there I want to make sure that waters as clean as possible.
I think I will also run the light at 10k max growth.

You will need some type of small fish unless you feed your corals. If you don't have some type of organic biologics your SPS coloration will look like a bleached out tie dye shirt. Don't get caught up in the 10K vs 20K growth. Optimal chemistry and stability with good flow and strong lighting will lead to growth. The Kelvin growth statements are purely conjecture without solid science to back it up, so go for the bulb coloration/combination that you are going to like to look at.
