Wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I emailed Bashsa and they said if tens of thousands of media reactors sold worldwide, this was the first time they’ve heard of this issue.

1st issue is often times when I run carbon, after a while the top plate and sponge work their way to the top. The black O-ring is not holding it in place. Its set up on a manifold off my main pump with a ball valve that I can adjust the flow. I’ve played with the flow to a point that there was very little flow so I don’t think that’s the issue.
2nd issue is if I try to run GFO and leave some space between the bottom plate and sponge so it can tumble the bottoms sponge always floats to the top and eliminates any space.

welcome any thoughts, similar experiences and/or solutions.
