Hi Reefers, Anyone having Basket Seastar in your reef tank? Any experiences you could share.... saw a cool piece in a LFS and was wondering if I should get it. Thanks in advance.

They can get quite large, so best to start with a smaller one
Basket stars are easy to care for and will actively feed on most foods at night when the lights are out. They can be coaxed into feeding during the day, but they are nocturnal feeders so that would be the best time to feed them.

Thanks, so they are reef safe... when you said they can get quite large, how large they can grow to? The one I saw was about 10 - 12cm.
