Is that the 900 dollar basslet that glows, they look sick and liked them even mroe when i found out how they collected them in the wild, although one might think its mean.
Im on the same boat you are bud! HahaNice looking Swissguard. I have been contemplating one of these guys for a while, but DD shows they are aggressive. Do you have any other fish in there with them?

Nope, I wish he was a L. carmabi aka Candy basslet. I can get the Swissguards for $35-$40. The Candy for lees than $600, but I would never pay that amount of money for a fish, I prefer to pay for the scuba gear (lessons are free!), and get them myself. I live in Puerto Rico, so these are native fish. Not intended for sale!Is that the 900 dollar basslet that glows, they look sick and liked them even mroe when i found out how they collected them in the wild, although one might think its mean.
Yes they are aggressive, he ate a whole peppermint shirmp (adult). I keep him alone in a separate tank, you will see them more if they are alone since they are very shy.
Well if I ever need to get rid of my peppermint shrimp i found an excuse to get a new fish

Yes it does sound better:wink:. I just want to get him myself and watch how the live in the natural habitat. Tank is 29 galons. I do have a video of him in a holding tank YouTube - Swissguard Bassletwow thats prety crazy, 600 does sound alot better then 900 though. what size tank arte you keeping him in?
cool fish i find it amazing that people pay 1000 dollars for a fish thats just crazy i can justify paying big money for corals because they should grow and maybe someday you will be able to break even with them but a fish has a life expectancy a lot shorter than a piece of coral. None the less good looking fish i really like that photo of the royal gramma
