Hey guys,
Ive had an established tank for 8 months and ive had blooms happen in the past and end withing a few hours.
This cloudyness seems to be raising my nitrites if im correct but looks just like a bacteral bloom but its been 2 days now and its still cloudyish.....any help is much appreciated since i just got some great coral in there yest

This is only the 3rd time ive had this but its the first time its seemed to raise my nitrites. Anyone have an recommendations on an inexpensive UV light?

your nitrites should be zero, sounds as you may be getting these blooms because something may have died, such as a snail etc

3 times in an 8 month tank is for me pointing to something that needs fixing, rather than a UV, if the cloudiness goes within a few hours, not sure if I would be buying a UV unless I wanted one in the tank anyway.

Green machine. I think Petco sells them. It'll help clear it up.
But honestly, 3 times is 3 too many IMO. In my 20+ years I've never had a single bloom.
