BENEPETS Reef Food?

My LFS asked if I would be there guinea pig and try this stuff. Is there anyone out there that uses it and if so how do you like it?

I tried a sample and didn't like it. It was very similar to another local vendors *special blend* which appeared to be a mixture of several other fine particle foods on the market. My LPS spit it out. Let me know how it works for you though...

Honestly I remember the tub I got mine from being a lot larger as well.

I stick to feeding LRS Reef Frenzy, Fauna Marin LPS pellets and occasional (light) broadcasting of Reef Roids or Coral Frenzy.

I just used some seems kind of dirty. Right now I'm feeding LRS, reef nutritions R.O.E and mysis. Reef roids and acropower every now and again. I'll give this new stuff a little time and see what happens. will let you know how it goes.

Yeah that's exactly what I noticed too! I mean it's worth a shot and I doubt it will do any harm other than raising your nutrients. My only reason for not using it in my feeding regime was due to the fact that I didn't observe the same feeding response with my coral as I do with the other foods I currently use.

Your current lineup appears to be very adequate. LRS is hands down the best IMO. If you haven't tried the Fauna Marin LPS Color+Grow Pellets, I would highly recommend trying that as well. All of my LPS go crazy for it. I had my dendros sprout 8 new heads in 1 month after feeding them the pellets and my rainbow acans hold color/glow under full LEDs.
