Hi, I am new to reef2reef! My tank has been running for a year now, but it has been off to a slow start due to me being lazy when it came to dosing. My tank is sumpless and has a hob reef octopus skimmer with a fuge moded aquaclear filter. The tank is mainly LPS but also has a good number of softies as well. I am just now started getting into sps with a green bird's nest so wish me luck!

Looks great! Did you cut the stocks of those hammers? I really like the short stock look, makes them look like anemones. Might try that with my gold torch when it sprouts a few more heads.

I didn't cut them they r just at a angle towards the camera. Sounds like a really cool idea though! Thanks!

Off to a nice start and the aqua clear refuge is an awesome idea!!!

I really like it because it turned a nitrate factory into something useful that helps lower nutrients and adds bio diversity.
