Wow that's pretty good camouflage

Hey one more question any problems with cleaning the glass with the rock so close?
Yeah for sure!
Uhh no not really there is one spot on the left side that some coralline grows that I can't get to without moving a rock but other then that I can slide a scraper in there to clean it. And it is very shadowed so not much algae grows there.
It just depends how OCD you are!

This guy and 2 others came with those zoas on a rock. I'm a little worried about them but I'm not certain if anything is wrong with them or if they are just that color.

And a top down of the gsp growing like a weed :)

So I've had this colonie of superman rhodactis for about 6 months and I love them! But the other i found this tiny baby that i saw was different. He was on the same rock but I saw that he had tiny bubbles on it. So i broke him off so i could keep better track of him. At first he was a very bland redish color like the bottom side of the superman shrooms. But i moved him into some higher lighting and he started to get some colors.
So what do you think? Is this a rhodactis that bounced? Or a totally different shroom that somehow got on this rock?
This is in whites and blues

I found 2 of these scutus snail things in my sump! Its awesome to see them pop up around the tank, they are often together which is cool :) he was closed up when i took these pictures but typically you can see a sliver of his white shell.

I was pretty happy HAPPY, the other day i took some coral frags to a lfs. He said he would trade them for store credit which was fine by me. I took all the green zoas on the rack and that rock of mushrooms and he gave me 150 bucks :D So i bought about 50$ worth of stuff, went to pay and he says "eh i can just give you your change in cash!
So i walked out feeling pretty nice :D My wife isn't always super inpressed when i spend on this hobby but shes happy when I go shopping and come home with more $$$ then I had when I left!

Very nice tank Ben and some cherry coral pieces to start off with too! I have several of those snails that were labeled as Cow Snails at a fairly LFS. One is medium size and the other is almost the size of a golf ball lol. Great cleaners and I don't have to worry about my rotten blue leg hermits eating them and stealing their shells. Really nice favia too!
Good to see you have an acan as well :). I added several of these and they've all been doing excellent with fairly fast and steady growth. Good choice for your tank!
Probably the best parts of this hobby for me at least are my own successes as well as seeing others doing the same or even better. Look forward to seeing how your tank progresses! Best wishes and good luck!

Good trouble: Have mushrooms ever become pests in your aquarium?
