Bernardpora Two Polyps on One Tentacle?

I just wanted to share this odd polyp that my Bernardpora has.

I guess this is where my coral anatomy knowledge breaks down.

The “tentacle” (extension that ends in a polyp) of a Goniopora or Bernardpora is a single polyp? What is the name for the base of the polyp?

Anyways, this colony has two polyps on the same base. How often does this happen?

Two heads on a single polyp. The tentacles surround the mouth on the head of the polyp.

Those big long ones are sweepers and will pack a punch if they hit other corals. Must be something nearby. Could be the green one to the left

corallite is probably undergoing intracalicular budding (Poritids usually extracalicularly bud).

Also that's a Goni, not a Bernardpora. Micro gonis becoming confused with Bernardpora stems from a misidentification by Jake Adams.
