Looking to add my final fish to my Reefer 425 (90 gal). What anthias would be best kept as a solo anthias in my tank?

Tank mates are:
2 O. Clowns
Royal Gramma
Coral beauty
Watchman goby
Fire fish
Melanarus wrasse
Tomini Tang
1 spot fox face.

One of any type would do fine. I have a harem of lyretails. I've always heard and read that eventually you'll end up with one no matter how many you have. I've found this to be correct. Multiple females won't necessarily stay all female if you have a dominant male. When they start transitioning anything can happen usually resulting in some being killed off by the group.

Will the solo fish remain male or revert back? I’m considering buying a male lyretail but it seems stupid to pay more for a male if it will just turn back when kept solo

I've had a solo male Lyertail Anthia in my 90 for about 8 mos. He's been doing great.

Thats a cool anthia. I havent found too much on them on youtube and just have the little blurb on live aquaria. Are they pretty similar in care to a lyretail?
I kept one with a group of 6 lyretail and it wasn’t aggressive at all. One of the easier anthias.
