I am working on getting all the equipment I need for a 4' x 2' x 2' 120g that I will be setting up in a few months. I am trying to figure out what lighting option is the best for my budget. I plan to keep mostly lps/softies, with a few beginner sps corals down the road. I currently own an AI Prime 16HD on my 40 gallon breeder (no corals currently). My budget is around $400 total. I'm thinking about buying another AI Prime 16HD, or possibly 3x VIPARSPECTRA 165w fixtures.

Would you recommend these options or save up more for a Kessil ap9x or multiple a360x's?

Thanks!

You could get away with 3x Viparspectras. I have 3 of them on my 75g and they can grow anything.
