You might wanna give folks a general price range and options ( lenses, available gadgets with it, etc. etc. ) that your looking for so that the camera folks can better help you.

Canon Cybershot or Panasonic Lumix are point-n-shoot camera's that are excellent, if your looking not to spend a fortune. I have owned the Cybershot but now use the Lumix and I gotta say I love the Panasonic a lot

Any of the dslr's with a good lens would be great. It just depends on your budget. Quite a few of the Point shoots are amazing, that is what I use and am completely happy. I use the Canon SD780is 12.2mp.

Here's a sample.

the Canon S90 is a great point-n-shoot. Many pro photogs use an S90 as a "glovebox" camera.

Nice camera Chalicekeeper! For $180, it takes some great pics! I just picked up something similar for $100. It's a Kodak Easyshare z1485 14 MP Digital with 25 times zoom. It gets here tomorrow and I can't wait. My previous camera was an old 4mp digital so this is an upgrade, lol.
