I am having an outbreak of hair algae in my reef tank. I know it is probably because for a while I did not have my RO unit up and running and was using tap water... I am now back to using all RO water and am starting to use a GFO reactor to help. I just thought that while I am fighting this outbreak I could add a fish (or inverts) that will help mow the algae down a little.
In the past I had very good luck with a Powder Brown Tang that ate it as fast as it could grow. Just seeing what everyone out there recommends! Thanks!
