Made In China?

Irrelevant. We all know Chinese LEDs grow SPS just fine. As a matter of fact, my entire tank of SPS is grown under Chinese LEDs. Wanna buy some frags?

In addition to the nice looking light, what I like about the Reef Breeders is that they don't come along with a bunch of snark.

What does your quoting mean/ask? I simply don't like the snark when we all know there are many ways to skin a (Chinese or domestic) cat.

But if you seriously want to buy some Chinese LED grown frags, PM me. [emoji57]

I too agree with yah on the snakyness as well and the quotes were used to point out some the similar type of snarkyness in that post. Are frags grown under Chinese lights some how different? If you are located in my area, I would be interested in SPS frags.

I've got a 72x36x27'' 300g deep dimension with 6- hydra 26's on it. It's been operating with them for at least a couple years now and it has been doing just fine. also have a 175g bow with 4 hydra 26's on it for the same amount of time and I'm happy with it as well. There are so many options out there with lighting anymore, that it makes it difficult to choose.

Ok cool. I was mostly kidding about the frags, although my "frag sump" is getting pretty full (I live in Chicago). And no, Chinese grown frags are obviously not different.

r u looking for lights for 36" long tank? I would suggest you this one: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/amazing-soul-mate-for-your-tank-pixie-150.257384/. It's with slim design, but no problem to light up 36" long and 28" wide tank, here's product page

I just called to get a quote today from Custom Aquariums on those same dimensions. I plan on using three Mitras over the top when it's delivered. I looked at all the lights being spoken about in this thread and I really like the Pheonix for its sheer power. I also looked into the Reef Breeders Photon V2. It also has a lot of power, but it has not frills at all concerning the programming. It doesn't ramp up on a smooth curve and only changes intensity over one hour intervals. Such a let down from such a powerful unit.

Let me know if you ever figure out the Mitras....I'm going to try T5 again...I can't seem to dial mine in correctly. I'm sure it has to do more with me than the light itself.
