I bought a used ocean revive that had no bracket, only hanging mounts which my wife and i thought would look ugly as hell hanging in our living room. Everyone gave me different ideas but all the ideas involved some sort of metal either screwed into the wall or into the stand. After about 2 weeks I came up with this and my wife loved it. Only thing I would change is thicker acrylic. (For the tang police the tang is already moved to my 75)

Nice DIY. If I my suggest, Putting a 1 inch by the length in the front to support the light and keep the top from sagging :)
